Photography Services

Session Deposits

When booking a photography session with us, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of your photography package.

Deposit amounts are as follows:

  • Portrait Sessions: 25% of total session fee
  • Wedding Photography: 30% of total package price
  • Commercial Photography: 25% of quoted project price

Session deposits are non-refundable as they reserve your specific date and time, during which we decline other potential bookings.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your session:

  • Requests made 14 or more days before your session date: Your deposit will be transferred to a new date with no additional fee.
  • Requests made 7-13 days before your session date: Your deposit will be transferred to a new date with a £25 rescheduling fee.
  • Requests made less than 7 days before your session date: Your deposit is forfeited, and a new deposit is required to book a future date.

Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies, severe illness, or extreme weather conditions at our discretion.

Cancellations of Full Services

For complete cancellation of photography services after full payment:

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to the service date: 70% refund of total payment (less the non-refundable deposit)
  • Cancellations made 14-29 days prior to the service date: 50% refund of total payment (less the non-refundable deposit)
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the service date: No refund

Online Photography Courses

Digital Course Refunds

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for our digital photography courses. If you are not satisfied with your purchase:

  • Request a refund within 14 days of purchase
  • You must have completed less than 30% of the course
  • Provide specific feedback about why the course did not meet your expectations

Refund requests meeting these criteria will be processed within 7 business days.

No Refunds For

  • Requests made after 14 days from purchase
  • Courses where more than 30% of the content has been accessed
  • Courses purchased as part of a discounted bundle or special promotion

For course bundles, refund eligibility is determined based on the percentage of the entire bundle accessed, not individual courses.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products (including presets, editing templates, eBooks, and digital guides), all sales are final and no refunds are provided once the digital product has been downloaded or accessed.

However, if you experience technical issues with downloading or accessing your digital product, please contact our support team within 7 days of purchase, and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

Physical Products

Returns of Undamaged Products

For physical photography products (such as prints, albums, or merchandise):

  • Return requests must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Products must be in original, unused condition with all packaging intact
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective

Once we receive the returned item in acceptable condition, we will process your refund within 7 business days.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  • Provide clear photos of the damage or defect
  • Do not attempt to return the item until you receive instructions from us

For confirmed damaged or defective items, we will either:

  • Send a replacement product at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund including original shipping costs

Custom Photography Work

For custom photography projects, editing services, or other personalized creative work:

  • The initial 50% deposit is non-refundable once work has begun
  • If you are dissatisfied with the initial concepts, we offer one round of revisions before additional charges apply
  • Once final deliverables have been approved and delivered, no refunds will be issued

Workshop and Event Refunds

For in-person or virtual photography workshops and events:

  • Cancellations made 30+ days prior to the event: Full refund less a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations made 14-29 days prior to the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the event: No refund

If we cancel a workshop or event, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to another date or comparable event

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or report a problem with your purchase:

  2. Include your order number, purchase date, and a detailed description of your issue
  3. For damaged physical products, attach clear photos of the damage
  4. Specify whether you're seeking a refund, replacement, or other resolution

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Credit/debit card payments: Refunded to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • PayPal payments: Refunded to your PayPal account within 3-5 business days
  • Bank transfers: Refunded to your specified bank account within 5-7 business days

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, it may take additional time for the funds to appear in your account depending on your financial institution's policies.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other extraordinary situations, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a fair resolution on a case-by-case basis.

For major weather events or other circumstances beyond our control that affect scheduled services, we will offer rescheduling options without additional fees.
